Supporting Kharkiv Animal Rescue: heroes on the frontlines of animal care

KHARKIV ANIMAL RESCUE, "ARK"

This address in Kharkiv became a symbol of kindness, hope, love and steadfastness in the long epic of the war in Ukraine. When people die, cities and villages are destroyed, and the ground burns under their feet, then everyone saves themselves as best they can. But for animals it is an even greater tragedy than for humans: injured, frightened, exhausted, they die of hunger, wounds and stress, because they have no way to protect themselves from hell. Animal rescuers are special: volunteers who search for and remove animals from war zones, shelter staff who care for them, and doctors and medical staff who rescue injured animals. A long chain of professional help: find, bring, feed, heal, transfer to safe hands.

Recently, the MEDPRESSO team got to know this extraordinary organization personally and helped to provide the "ARK" veterinary clinic with suture materials for animal surgery. The people we met are incredible. These are real professionals, real Kharkiv residents, real heroes!

We invite you to join our initiative in helping this amazing organization. Information about "KHARKIV ANIMAL RESCUE, ARK" and their animal care needs can be found at:
