EMSOS-2023 discussions have long gone beyond onco-orthopedics. Interdisciplinary sessions are intended for all stakeholders, including:

•  Nursing staff
•  Societies for the Protection of Patients' Rights
•  Social workers
•  Pharmaceutical industry
•  Regulators

A number of unresolved issues related to rare tumors, late metastasis, individual implants, patient reimbursement need to be discussed extensively. Basic and clinical research requires greater integration within the framework of interdisciplinary discussions in order to achieve a common goal - timely, complete and high-quality patient care.
