SFD 2027, the annual congress of the Société Francophone du Diabète, takes place at Lille Grand Palais and gathers the French-speaking medical and paramedical community working in clinical and basic diabetology. The society holds the meeting every spring.
Alongside the four-day main congress, the programme includes dedicated paramedical days and separate days of the Aide aux Jeunes Diabétiques (AJD). On the morning of Friday 2 April, a half-day of the Journées d'Éducation Thérapeutique du Diabète (JETD) is devoted to therapeutic patient education. The 2027 scientific programme has not yet been published. Abstracts could be submitted until 4 November 2026 in several formats, from oral communications to discussed and displayed posters, with author notifications planned for the second half of December.
Registration rates are listed on the congress website, with lower fees for SFD members and for registration before 31 January 2027. There is also a reduced rate for students and for participants from low- and middle-income countries, plus group rates and a continuing-education option. The SFD is registered as a continuing-education provider and holds Qualiopi quality certification. The whole congress, the paramedical days, the AJD days and the JETD half-day are priced separately. The venue is a few minutes' walk from the Lille Flandres and Lille Europe stations, and all congress rooms can be reached by lift.
