SABCS 2026 is the 49th San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, hosted by UT Health San Antonio and the American Association for Cancer Research. The organizers describe it as the largest breast cancer conference in the world: each December, more than 11,000 physicians, researchers, clinicians and patient advocates from over 100 countries come to San Antonio to present research and exchange ideas.
The programme covers breast cancer and premalignant breast disease from experimental biology and causes to prevention, diagnosis and treatment, including findings from late-breaking clinical trials. Lectures by experts in clinical, translational and basic research are combined with selected oral and poster presentations, forums and case discussions. Press conferences on new results are planned for 9, 10 and 11 December.
Attendees can take part in person or through the virtual meeting platform, with virtual registration rates based on the World Bank income classification of the attendee's country. Registration includes access to the SABCS mobile app.
