ISC 2027, the International Stroke Conference of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, presents new stroke and brain health science in Houston. The programme spans basic, clinical and translational research in cerebrovascular disease, from stroke prevention and acute care to recovery and rehabilitation.

Pre-conference symposia and the State of the Science Stroke Nursing Symposium open the meeting on 9 February, followed by the main sessions from 10 to 12 February. Highlights include late-breaking science and ongoing clinical trial updates, the Stroke in Practice and Experimental Stroke Science symposia, and a new Brain Health Symposium. In-person attendees also have access to the expanded Simulation Zone, the Neuro Talk Theater, the Poster Hall and the Science & Technology Hall.

For 2027 the organizers livestream the full educational programme for the first time. Virtual registrants can follow late-breaking science sessions, main events, guidelines sessions and Fireside Chats, send questions to speakers and view all ePosters online, with on-demand replay available within 24 hours. Submissions for Late-Breaking Science and Ongoing Clinical Trials close on 28 October 2026, and early-bird registration runs until 9 November 2026.
