International Diabetes Federation Congress
Thailand is experiencing a significant rise in diabetes cases, similar to other nations in the Western Pacific region. The past decade has seen a notable surge in diabetes prevalence, fueled by urbanization, shifts in lifestyle, and changes in dietary patterns. This trend signals an urgent call for more focused and coordinated efforts to enhance awareness, strengthen prevention, and improve the management of diabetes across the country.
In response to this urgent public health issue, an upcoming 4-day congress will bring together global experts and healthcare professionals to address these challenges. The event will feature 10 program streams, 8 parallel sessions, and 130 hours of scientific presentations, ensuring a robust exchange of knowledge. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with 250 leading international speakers, explore 1,000 e-posters, and earn an expected 25 CME credits. Additionally, the congress will showcase an 8,000 square meter exhibition, with a special spotlight on diabetes, providing a platform for innovation and collaboration in tackling this pressing health concern.
