European Congress on Obesity

The European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) will convene its flagship event, the European Congress on Obesity (ECO 2026), bringing together the continent’s leading voices in obesity research, clinical practice, and public health.
Established in 1986, EASO represents a federation of national professional societies across 39 countries and serves as a key partner to the WHO Regional Office for Europe. It also provides expert support to the European Parliamentary Special Interest Group on Obesity.
With a network of more than 20,000 members—including researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and early-career scientists—EASO continues to lead the way in advancing science, shaping policy, and improving care for individuals living with obesity.
ECO 2026 will offer a comprehensive programme addressing the latest in prevention, treatment, and management, and will foster cross-disciplinary collaboration to tackle the complex challenges of obesity at both individual and societal levels.
