ESGO 2027 brings the gynaecological oncology community to London for the annual congress of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, which the organizers describe as the largest European gathering in gynaecological cancers. The congress is the core of the society's educational activities and is held every spring.

The programme combines late-breaking research, new guidelines and practical demonstrations with exclusive live surgery transmissions. Debates, tumour boards and interactive sessions give delegates the chance to question leading experts directly. Abstract topics range from diagnostics and imaging, surgery, radiation oncology and systemic therapy to pathology and molecular diagnostics, translational research and biomarkers, prevention and screening, fertility and pregnancy, survivorship and quality of life, and palliative and supportive care.

The organizers cite more than 3,800 attendees from over 100 countries, 100+ international speakers, 200+ lectures and more than 1,500 abstracts. Prof Jonathan Ledermann (UK) is Congress President, and Prof Ane Gerda Zahl Eriksson (Norway) chairs the scientific programme. Early registration closes on 17 December 2026 and standard registration on 18 February 2027.
