Billed by the organizers as the largest European gathering for applied and translational neuroscience, the congress spans human mood, behaviour, cognition and emotion, from basic science to clinical care. Its focus is on how new research, treatments and technologies can help people with brain disorders. The agenda follows research in psychiatry, neurology and psychology into treatment, alongside neuroscience and neurobiology, care for mental health, industry developments, regulatory and policy questions, and the patient perspective.
