ECCO 2027 is the 22nd Congress of the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation, held in Copenhagen. The scientific programme is structured around basic science, traditional medicine and clinical sessions, delivered by what the organizers call some of the world's top specialists. The preliminary programme is published under the title "Causes of IBD".
An educational programme runs before the official start of the congress and offers activities for ECCO's interest groups; it requires additional registration. The congress closes on Saturday, 6 March, with the "Congress reloaded: Science expanded" session, which lasts until 15:00.
Abstract submission for ECCO'27 is open, with guidelines and an FAQ on the official site; at ECCO'26, 1,580 abstracts were accepted. ECCO members save roughly EUR 250–400 on registration, and members must have paid their 2027 fee before registering. Group e-vouchers and visa invitation letters are available. The organizers warn about fraudulent websites posing as the ECCO'27 site and ask participants to use only the official congress pages.
