The organizers frame this edition around what lies ahead in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, combining interactive education, immersive simulations and hands-on learning.
Full conference registration gives access to more than 300 sessions from Sunday to Wednesday. The programme spans airways disease; cardiovascular and pulmonary vascular disease; chest infections, disaster medicine and systemic disease; critical care; interdisciplinary care, practice operations and education; interstitial lung disease and transplant; lung cancer, interventional pulmonology and radiology; and sleep medicine.
The Saturday programme includes ticketed hands-on courses in advanced critical care echocardiography and in advanced robotic and navigational bronchoscopy, along with several free career development courses. During the meeting, the top three fellows' teams from the online qualifying quiz compete in the live CHEST Challenge Championship, the 2026 award recipients are recognised at the Opening Session on Sunday, 18 October, and newly accepted Fellows of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) are invited to a Convocation Ceremony.
