ASH 2026 – American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting and Exposition, New Orleans

Key facts

ASH 2026 is the 68th Annual Meeting and Exposition of the American Society of Hematology, which the organizers call the premier event in classical and malignant hematology. The meeting aims to advance hematology research and science, clinical practice, education and community, and brings together hematologists from around the world for four days in New Orleans.

Science is at the centre of the programme, with results of new clinical trials and progress in basic and translational research. The 2026 programme includes an Education Program, a Scientific Program and Marquee Sessions. Late-breaking abstracts are published online on 7 December. On Friday 11 December, before the main meeting, ASH-a-Palooza, satellite symposia and scientific workshops take place. The CME/MOC-supported education programme focuses on insights clinicians can apply in patient care.

The meeting runs in a hybrid format: attendees can join in person, virtually or on demand, and the virtual platform opens for all registrants on 9 December. Virtual access packages run until January, February or March 2027, depending on the option chosen. Networking sessions and social events serve hematologists at all career stages. Ami Bhatt and Saar Gill co-chair the scientific programme, and Maureen Okam Achebe and Robert Zeiser co-chair the education programme.
