71st Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine

Following a recommendation from a presidential task force, the Annual Meeting Program Committee has taken a fresh approach: the introduction of an annual "Spotlight" at the Annual Meeting. This Spotlight will showcase sessions that seamlessly blend basic science, applied science, and clinical medicine. The 2024 Annual Meeting will mark the debut of this initiative, with the inaugural Spotlight Theme being "Precision Health", chosen by the newly formed Spotlight subcommittee under the guidance of the president-elect. This subcommittee, comprising representatives from various disciplines, will curate topics sourced from several ACSM committees, ensuring a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach.
