20th Congress of European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation

In 2025, the congress will center on the theme "Sustainability in IBD and Beyond," aligned with the objective of Attaining Sustainable IBD Care. This theme will be explored from multiple perspectives throughout the event, including novel strategies for sustainable treatment, the impact of lifestyle on health, and the prevention of IBD. Key topics will cover improving adherence to therapy, utilizing monitoring tools and markers, and the role of endoscopy in treatment. Innovations in IBD care, such as the presentation of the revised IBD classification, will be a significant highlight. The concept of sustainability in surgery will also be addressed to ensure long-term success and remission.
Additional sessions will focus on nutrition, novel genetic insights in basic science, hot topics in IBD, and emerging challenges. The program will feature excellent abstracts covering all innovative and current topics in the field.
